Kamran Shahbaz
CFO and Strategy (on sabbatical)
Kamran Shahbaz is currently on sabbatical from the Board of Directors at FEDAA while he pursues a Master’s degree in Public Administration, with a concentration in International Development, at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government.
Kamran's professional background is in management consulting with Deloitte, where he provided strategic advice to financial services clients on growth opportunities and organizational transformations. Additionally, he served as General Manager for Business Development and Director of Executive Education and Career Services at Al Yamamah University in Saudi Arabia.
Passionate about solving issues in education, Kamran acts as an advisor to INTERLINK International Institutes, a family-owned organization dedicated to academic preparation. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees at his alma mater, Davidson College.
Kamran’s dedication to FEDAA began in childhood, where he contributed to fundraising efforts by performing Farsi songs to obliging audiences. He remains committed to helping Afghan students realize the Afghanistan of their dreams.
