Ahad Shahbaz
CEO Emeritus
Born and raised in Afghanistan, Ahad Shahbaz completed undergraduate and graduate studies in Linguistics and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at SUNY/Buffalo, NY. As President and CEO of INTERLINK International Institutes, an academic preparation and cross-cultural training organization for international students, he oversees all INTERLINK’s operations across several university campuses in the US and abroad. An active participant in international conferences, he has guest lectured on leadership, management, language and cross-cultural training.
As CEO emeritus, he worked closely with FEDAA Founder, Joan Kayeum, to establish the Foundation’s tax exempt status and continues to be committed to serving Afghans in Afghanistan.
